From the A25 take the A248 towards Sherbourne. After 3.5miles turn left onto B2128 towards Cranleigh. Follow B2128 for just over 2 miles and you arrive at Shamley Green. The pub is on the left opposite the green

Public Transport

By train & bus: Trains to Guildford from both Clapham Junction and Sutton are frequent, even on a Sunday. Walk to Guildford Friary Bus Station (10 mins) and catch the 53 from Stand 7 to the Red Lion, Shamley Green Buses are once an hour at xx.35 and the journey time is 20 mins.

Walk & Location Information

A 3 mile walk, mainly on the level with no stiles. Unfortunately a long narrow path towards the end makes this walk unsuitable for buggies.

The Red Lion has a car park and gardens at front and rear. The food is homemade and they do a Sunday Roast. It is a very popular food venue and you are advised to book for Sunday lunch. Tel. 01483 892202.
