Walk & Location Information

The walk is 4 miles, taking in local lanes, the Thames path up to Marsh Lock and then to Harpsden wood just outside Henley-on-Thames. A few stiles and kissing gates, terrain is mainly flat but there is some uphill walking in the middle/latter stages of the walk.

This is a smart pub with nice garden and good food... they won County Dining Pub of the Year in 2007. They also do barbecues on summer Sundays. At least three real ales, eg, Loddon Hoppit, London Pride, Timothy Taylor Landlord.
They have a small car park, parking is also possible in road adjacent to pub garden.
