From junction 10 of the M25 proceed north along the A3 to the first junction. Turn right here along the A245 into Cobham. At Cobham town centre bear right along Downside Bridge Road Towards Effingham. After crossing the M25 turn left at the first cross roads into Howard Road that becomes Effingham Common Road as it passes Effingham Junction Station. Continue until you pass Effingham Lodge and St Lawrence Primary School where you bear left into Lower Road.. The second turning on the left after this is Little Bookham Street and the pub is on the left.

Public Transport

Trains from Waterloo stop at Bookham Station every hour on a Sunday. The station is about half a mile from the pub.

Walk & Location Information

A short and pleasant stroll of less than 3 miles over level and flat ground with no stiles. The terrain is suitable for pushchairs but gets very muddy very quickly after rain.

The pub has a large car park and customers are welcome to leave their cars there while they walk. Children are welcome and there is a large patio garden. A good selection of beers and lagers are stocked including Courage Best, Hogs Back TEA and Adnams Broadside as well as some guest ales.
