Event Details

Date:

12th September 1999, Start Time 2:15pm

Location:

The White Horse, Hedgerley, Buckinghamshire

Organisers:

Sue & Robert Whale

Walk Distance:

3½ miles (5½ Km)

Directions

Nat Grid Ref: SU969875

The pub is close to junction 2 (Beaconsfield turn) on the M40, take exit south then immediately turn left on to road running east parallel to motorway. After about a mile turn right down village lane, pub is on the left.

Alternatively take junction 6 from the M4 and head north on A355 via Slough. Bear right to Hedgerley just past Burnham Beeches.

Anyone wanting to come by train should travel west from e.g. Paddington or Ealing Broadway and then get off at Slough or Burnham. You'll need to get a cab from there.

The pub is a free house, open all day, with nice interesting beer selection, and provides hot or cold food until 2pm, then just cold food till 4pm. There is a large garden, but smallish car park (but there is parking along the lane outside).
