Date: 18th June 2006
Start Time: 2:15pm
Location: The Farmhouse pub, Horley
Organisers: Roger & Jenny Abbott
Walk Distance: 3.5 miles (5.5Km)

Directions

Nat Grid Ref: TQ 289441

Location
From Redhill:
A23 south towards Crawley/Gatwick, about 4 miles then just before big roundabout with Shell garage in the centre, turn left into Ladbroke Road. Under railway bridge and the pub is about 200 yards on left.
If travelling from south, use A23 past Gatwick (remembering it's right at the newly re-arranged roundabout just after the airport), past Horley and the big Shell roundabout is obvious. The turning is NOT off the roundabout, you take the A23 towards Redhill then IMMEDIATELY right into Ladbroke Road, signposted to Langshott Manor. Under railway bridge and the pub is about 200 yards on left.

Public Transport
Horley station is about 1 mile to the south. Take Station Approach/Road (which is to the east of the railway tracks) heading North. Turn left at T-junction with Balcombe Road (still heading north) and you'll soon reach the large roundabout described above. Keep to the right, heading north and you'll see Ladbroke Road on your right.
