Directions

From Godstone or M25 junction 6: Take A22 southbound through Blindley Heath. Turn left onto B2029 (Ray Lane) which leads to B2028 into Lingfield. The Greyhound is on the right opposite the Old Cage. There is a car park at rear.

Public Transport: Trains are hourly from London Victoria xx.26, Clapham Junction xx.32, East Croydon xx.53 and arriving at Lingfield xx.21.
A short walk (about 15 minutes): Leave front of station down to road. Straight across and follow footpath which comes
out by the Star Inn. Turn left along Church Road to end then right into the village. Right again in village at mini roundabout past the pond and pub is on your left.

Children are welcome in the garden and meals are served until about 4.00pm.

STARTERS
Answers can be seen from the pub garden.

STAGE I
Cross road outside the pub and turn right. Straight on and take path to left of the hollow tree. Keep going straight, past Old School Place and down Town Hill. Turn left into Church Road and along to the bus stop opposite the Star Inn where the stage ends.

STAGE II
Take road to left leading to the church. Follow the path along the right hand side of church and straight ahead to steps. Down the steps, cross the road and up the steps on the other side. Follow path ahead to a kissing gate where the stage ends.

STAGE III
Go through the kissing gate on the left and follow path around the field. Keep straight down path on other side of field (ignore fork to the left) down to the end and left into next field.Follow path down right hand side of field to the bottom then around to the left. End of stage at the gate by Coldharbour Farm.

STAGE IV
Straight on narrow road past houses. Turn left at end and follow around ahead onto footpath at Yew Tree Cottage. Through the kissing gate at end of footpath and along footpath on the left. Through another kissing gate and follow footpath on left. Straight ahead, past Paris Farm on your left to Stoneacre where stage ends.

STAGE V
Over small stile to left of Stoneacre and straight ahead. Turn left through kissing gate then straight on through three more kissing gates. Over the wooden planks after the last kissing gate on this footpath and shortly after turn right through another kissing gate. Ahead along left hand side of field to kissing gate where stage ends.

STAGE VI
Through kissing gate and turn right down field , left at the bottom along the taped off boundary and left at end to stile on the right. Over the stile and along left hand side of field to next stile. Over the stile and cross road to the pavement where stage ends.

STAGE VII
Turn left and follow road down to the mini roundabout where quiz walk ends. Straight over to the Greyhound.
