From Redhill (station), take A23 south for approx 3 miles. At Salfords turn left into Honeycrock Lane (signposted Station & Perrywood Business Park). Continue along lane for approx 2 miles. At T-junction turn left then very soon right (Brickfield Road). Follow road approx 1 mile. At T-junction turn left (Millers Lane). Very soon turn left again and proceed past windmill (on right) to The Bell (on right). Cars may be parked in the REAR car park.

From Horley (Shell Garage on A23 roundabout) take A23 north for approx 1½ miles (through Salfords). Turn right into Honeycrock Lane (signposted Station & Perrywood Business Park) and follow directions as above.

From Blechingley (A25), turn south into Outwood Lane. Continue approx 3 miles. The Bell is on left just before reaching Village Green and windmill.

Public Transport:
This could be difficult. Nearest station is Salfords (London - Brighton line), about 3 miles to the west or Nutfield (Redhill - Tonbridge line). about 3 miles nor-north-west.

The Bell has a beer garden, a restaurant and is open all day. A good range of ales is available but booking is recommended for Sunday Lunch (roast main course about £8.50)

STAGE I
Note: No answers until you reach the Village Green.
From pub, cross road and turn left. At Village Green bear right towards a white house. At road, turn right and follow past garage and ahead for some distance (ignore turning to farm entrance on right). At end of tarmac, ahead to stile in the trees. Over stile and ahead (slightly left) to junction of fields where stage ends.

STAGE II
Into next field and ahead (keeping hedge on right). At far end of field, over stile and turn left. At corner of field, over stile through trees, over another stile and ahead along side of field (hedge on left). At far end of field, over stile to track where stage ends.

STAGE III
Turn left and follow track ahead, eventually past houses then turn right at crossroad. Soon, pass church (no answers on gravestones) and stage ends at road.

STAGE IV
Take road opposite. Very soon right at FP sign, then immediately left following path alongside of field (houses on left). Keep going ahead along LHS of several fields. Eventually path becomes an alley between houses. Stage ends at road.

STAGE V
Cross road and turn left. At footpath sign (opposite Rose Cottage) turn right and follow grassy path between houses. Soon, over fence and ahead along side of field (hedge on left). Just before corner of field, left over stile (this is the second stile on left). At end of field through gates (?) and ahead along top of right hand field (hedge on left). Stage ends at far end of field.

STAGE VI
Turn right (downhill). Continue alongside 2nd field then left through gate and round left hand side of 3rd field to stile in lower (opposite) corner. Over stiles to road where stage ends.

STAGE VII
Cross road and turn left. At Cogmans Lane turn right then immediately through green gate on left and follow path through farm. Ahead along track. Soon, at right bend, through gate on left and along right hand side of field. Into second field then diagonally left to stile in opposite corner where stage ends.

STAGE VIII
Over stile and left along track. Stage ends at road. (Fine view of South Downs from just beyond other side of bridge a short way along this path).

Cross road and turn left. Continue past windmill and follow round to the right. Walk ends at end of Village Green (the four small wooden posts). Ahead to pub.
