A281 (Millbrook) towards Horsham. After about 1½ miles
(2 Km) pass Shalford station on left then, after roundabout,
turn right into Broadford Road (A248). The Parrot is a short
distance on left.
Public Transport:
Shalford Station (Guildford - Dorking - Gatwick line) is a short
distance - check train times!

STAGE I
Out of pub, turn left. Cross road before bend (by car park
entrance) and continue along road round "S" bend.
Cross bridge and turn immediately left across road and down towpath
with canal on your left. Just past fork in river go through
gate. Carry on with river/canal on your left. Go through another
gate by disused railway embankment. Stage ends at bridge.

STAGE II
Carry on and go over little wooden bridge and along towpath.
Go through small gate to road.
Stage ends at bridge.

STAGE III
Turn left over bridge along road. After a short while go
over two more bridges which have white railings. At junction
with Trumley Heath Road and Unstead Lane turn left. At Thames
Water sign turn right and follow your nose up minor road. Go
through/round gate. Continue as path narrows and goes between
two fields.
Stage ends at field edge.

STAGE IV
Continue between fenced fields and into woods. At road cross
diagonally left to footpath through woods. Stage ends at post

Continue along path. Cross over driveway and continue along
path to road. At busy road cross with care to village green and

STAGE VI
Immediately over bridges turn sharp right then right again
and go under the bridge that you have just crossed to a disused
railway. Follow long straight path for a while until you reach
a bridge. Cross bridge and continue towards road. At road turn
right and continue over bridge. Stage ends at cul de sac.
