Location: Nutfield is on the A25 between Redhill (to the west) and Blechingley (to the east) just west of where the A25 crosses M23. From Nutfield village centre (High Street) turn south along Mid Street. After 1 mile, pass Nutfield Station, under railway bridge and The Station Hotel is on the right in The Avenue.

Public Transport: Train services at 50 minutes past the hour from East Croydon, change at Redhill. Alternatively infrequent bus services from Redhill to Nutfield (approx every 2 hours).

Other Information: Large garden with play area for children.

Through underpass and ahead. Over stile and follow track to left. Ahead over stile and later another stile. Bear right before pond. End of stage at tarmac road.

Left up road. U turn left at houses along footpath. (Disappointingly, the Red Lion up the road shuts at 3.00 on Sundays.) Follow footpath down to stile.
