At The Red Lion PH. All of the answers are on the front wall of the pub (with the two entrances).
900 m. The stage begins at Vicarage Walk. Turn left from the pub into the pedestrian High Street. Soon turn left into
Church Street which leads to St Peter & St Paul Church. Turn right into Borough Road. The walk begins at Vicarage Walk
just before the bus stops.
Continue along the road and almost immediately turn left onto the Public Footpath. Cross the footbridge into the
car park. NOTE: There are no clues in the car park. Rejoin the road and pass under the railway bridge. Turn left along
the public footpath at the stream. Cross the road at Westbrook Mills to the tarmac path. The stage ends at the wooden
footbridge by the weir.

Stage 3
500 m. Continue on the tarmac path. At the a left fork turn left along the dirt path that runs by the river. Eventually
the river and path turn around to the right and a wooden post with a round 'Public Footpath' sign appears. Continue
past this and up the path with the houses on the right to a main road where the stage ends.

Stage 4
700 m. Turn left and follow the footpath. Eventually pass 'Milton Wood' house. The stage ends at the gate just after
the house.

Stage 5
900 m. Continue along the tarmac track until you reach a finger post with 2 'Public Bridleway' signs on the left. Turn
left here and follow this track to a gate with a concrete track on the other side.

Stage 6
700 m. Carry on along the track to the buildings in the distance. At the main road turn left through the village and
continue to the road bridge where the stage ends.

Stage 7
500 m. The next stage starts at the other side of the bridge.
Note: 'The Stag On The River' pub is 50 m along the road to the right.
Turn left along the river and follow the path up hill and over a stile. At the far side of a field come to
another stile by a cottage. Continue to the Public Footpath sign at the main road where the stage ends.

Stage 8
1100 m. There are no clues on the main road. Turn left and follow the road up the hill and around the right hand bend.
After 500 m you reach Halfway Lane where the next stage starts. Turn left along the lane and follow it all the way to
the junction with New Way at Far Cottage. Take the footpath that runs past Far Cottage that ends at a gate by a tarmac
road.

500 m. Continue left down the tarmac road. This eventually passes under a railway bridge. After 50 m turn left into
Vicarage Walk. The stage ends back at the start of Stage 2.
